These pizzelles are not only so easy to make, but so good to eat!

To create these wonderful cookies...

*First, melt 1 stick of butter and set it aside to cool.

*Next, crack 3 eggs into a large mixing bowl.

*Add 3/4 cup granulated sugar to the eggs

*Beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes until light yellow

*Add in the cooled melted butter, and beat again until incorporated

*WE ARE NOW DONE WITH THE ELECTRIC MIXER

*Next add 1 and 3/4 cup of flour and 2 teaspoons of baking powder to the same bowl

*Mix in flour and baking powder with spoon or spatula just until incorporated.

*Do not over mix

*Next, decide what kind of cookie you want to make

*If you want a plain regular anise pizzelle, add 1 teaspoon of anise

*If you want a chocolate pizzelle, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 2-3 teaspoons of cocoa powder. (Will depend on how much batter you have)

*NOTE: If you want chocolate and anise pizzelles you can split the batter, add the same ammount of extract you would if it was a fool batch -(1 tsp)

*Warm up your pizzelle iron and add about a teaspoon of batter(This will vary for everyone depending on your pizzelle maker)

*Place on cooling rack to cool and cut off excess edges (if desired)

*Add some powdered sugar and ENJOY!!!
